There is no single test for psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Your doctor will ask you about your symptoms and do a physical exam. The doctor may also order tests, such as:
Radiographic tests give your doctor a picture of how PsA is affecting your joints, bones, and nearby tissues over time (also called radiographic progression). They can also help your doctor see how your treatment is working. Ask your doctor about your radiographic progression.
